When you realize that you need someone good to talk to who is not a family member, a friend, your office mate, your personal trainer or hair stylist, we can help. You need a well-trained professional who carefully listens, takes into account your unique personal experience and overall situation, and crafts an approach tailored to who you are and the kind of person who you want to be.
Established in 2021, Consul Licensed Clinical Social Work, P.L.L.C. DBA Consul Mental Health is a private psychotherapy practice that provides an array of mental health services. Founded by Gildo Consolini, Ph.D. LCSW, Consul therapists provide treatment and care guided by the core belief that a "one size fits all" approach does not work when it comes to the unique personal and professional struggles one may face in life. Regardless of a therapist's background and orientation, we believe he or she should be able to "get you" and fully appreciate what it is you wish to gain from therapy.
One size does not fit all...
We are confident that by placing the individual first as we proceed with our efforts to address their difficulties, our therapists will help you make lasting changes that work for the unique person that you are and for your current life situation. Through graduate education and postgraduate clinical training, Consul's psychotherapists are thoroughly equipped to support the commitment you are making to yourself to face your challenges and grow. Additionally, all of our seasoned therapists have had other extensive professional experiences—as well as life experiences—that enhance the quality of the care they can provide. If you would like to learn more about our therapists and their backgrounds, please take at look at our group.
We are licensed to provide mental health services to residents of New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Florida, and Colorado. Our services are provided via telehealth sessions along with in-person sessions in our Manhattan office, a short distance from Grand Central Terminal.
